SpaceX CRS-4 was a Commercial Resupply Service mission to the International Space Station (ISS), contracted to NASA, which was launched on September 21, 2014 and arrived at the space station on 23 September 2014.
For Dr. Malany, it marked a successful mission under the Space Florida and NanoRacks ISS research competition which allowed her to conduct an initial microgravity related experiment using NanoRacks plate reader on the ISS’s. This initial experiment paved the way for follow up missions in 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2022!
